The Grade ll listed 1840s St Helena campus for the University of Derby has recently been part of a refurbishment and conservation programme.
The former grammar school is now a revitalised facility for the University, hosting adult nursing, social care, engineering and computing classes. The building, which had been un-loved and declining, has been brought back into dynamic educational use.
As part of the building’s restoration process, the ironmongery specification had to respect existing ironmongery in both finish and design.
