Em-B Solutions has been shortlisted for three GAI/RIBA Specification Awards, recognising excellence in architectural ironmongery specification across residential, heritage and public healthcare projects.
The shortlisted schemes are
- Overdale, a bespoke private residence in Yorkshire
- Ampleforth Abbey Retreat Centre, a sensitive refurbishment within a historic religious and educational setting
- The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds, a nationally significant healthcare project designed around accessibility, dignity and long-term performance.
The GAI/RIBA Specification Awards celebrate high-quality ironmongery that contributes meaningfully to building performance, aesthetics and sustainability. Being shortlisted across three very different project types highlights Em-B’s ability to tailor hardware solutions to the specific demands of each building, its users and its wider context.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Phil Goldberg, Managing Director at Em-B Solutions, said “Being shortlisted for three projects is a real credit to the team and to the collaborative approach we take with architects, designers and contractors. Each of these projects presented very different challenges, and it’s encouraging to see that level of care and attention recognised.”
The winners of the GAI/RIBA Specification Awards will be announced later this year.
